How to Ask for More of the Holy Spirit

In order to understand how the Holy Spirit moves, we need to first understand the big picture of God's kingdom. Jesus wasn't a sort of magician who did amazing things to awe people. He came to fulfill all of the Kingdom expectation, which is summarized in the passage from Isaiah 61 and which Jesus says he came to fulfill here in Luke. What we're going to see is that Jesus relied on the Holy Spirit to do the things he did. In this week, we'll also review our foundational KOG theology.
