21 Days: Setting the Table for Alpha

Taking a risk is hard. The first step is always the hardest. Peter took a huge risk by stepping out of the boat and Jesus affirmed his risk and faith.

It all begins with an invitation. Jesus changed lives, not just through healing and miracles, but by inviting people into relationship with himself. By inviting his disciples to follow him, Jesus addressed some of the deepest questions of life—do I have a place to belong? Will people love me for who I am? Will people accept me with all my flaws? Do I have a deeper purpose in life? We also see that the power of invitation is contagious. Jesus extends an invitation to his disciples, and they extend an invitation to others.

We are setting the table for Alpha with this series. We want to take the next 21 days to pray and intentionally invite people to participate in Alpha. This series will equip our congregation to pray, invite, and take a big risk and step out of our comfort zone.
