Columbus is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the Midwest—a diverse, rapidly changing region of more than two million people. From urban neighborhoods to expanding suburbs, the opportunities for ministry are significant and growing.

Across Central Ohio, people are searching for belonging, purpose, healing, and hope. We believe the local church is uniquely positioned to meet those needs through the love of Jesus and the power of authentic community.

For pastors called to disciple people, develop leaders, and engage their communities, Columbus offers both meaningful challenges and extraordinary possibilities.

Why Vineyard Columbus?

Loving central Ohio since 1987

For nearly four decades, Vineyard Columbus has been helping people experience God, love one another, and partner with Christ to heal the world.

What began as a single congregation has grown into a diverse, multi-campus church committed to discipleship, compassionate ministry, and the work of God's Kingdom throughout Central Ohio. We believe the Church is at its best when people of every age, background, and life stage encounter Jesus, discover authentic community, and find their place in God's mission.

Multiethnic and Intergenerational

A celebration of kingdom community

People from more than 120 nations call Vineyard Columbus home. From children and students to young adults, families, and sages, we believe everyone has a meaningful role to play in God's Kingdom.

On Mission Together

Across five campus communities

More than 4,000 people connect with Vineyard Columbus through four English-speaking campuses, one Spanish-speaking campus, and online gatherings—all united by a shared mission and vision.

Who We're Looking for

The qualities, calling, and leadership we're seeking

Shepherd
Build trust. Care for people. Create belonging.
Mission Builder
See possibilities. Engage communities. Reach new people.
Disciple Maker
Develop leaders. Multiply ministry. Raise up others.
Visionary Leader
Cast vision. Navigate change. Inspire movement.

We are seeking pastors who are passionate about making disciples, developing leaders, and helping healthy church communities flourish. These roles require leaders who can shepherd people well while also building toward the future with vision, courage, and wisdom.

The strongest candidates will be relational leaders who build trust through presence, cultivate belonging, and inspire people toward a shared mission. They will be comfortable navigating change, developing teams, engaging their local communities, and creating environments where people can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith.

Whether serving in an established congregation or helping shape what comes next, we are looking for leaders who are energized by Spirit-led ministry, committed to leadership development, and excited about the opportunity to participate in God's work across Central Ohio.

Our campus communities

Distinct communities, shared purpose

Each Vineyard Columbus campus serves a unique community and carries its own strengths, challenges, and opportunities for ministry. While united by a shared mission, each campus requires a leader who can faithfully serve its specific context and help shape its future.

Grandview

Located near Downtown Columbus, Grandview serves a diverse mix of young professionals, students, families, and long-time residents across neighborhoods including Grandview, Upper Arlington, Clintonville, Victorian Village, and the Short North.

The next leader will help cultivate a healthy discipleship culture, engage people who are not currently connected to church, and build pathways for participation, leadership, and mission. This role is well-suited for a pastor who sees possibilities where others see constraints. We're looking for a visionary shepherd who can inspire hope, develop leaders, and help discern what this campus can become in the years ahead.

Pickerington

Serving Southeast Columbus and surrounding communities including Pickerington, Reynoldsburg, Canal Winchester, Blacklick, and Pataskala, this campus is rooted in a growing and diverse suburban region.

The next lead pastor will build on a strong foundation while helping cultivate renewed vision, healthy discipleship, and leader development. This role calls for a relational leader who values community, builds trust through presence, and can guide people toward healing, belonging, and shared mission. We are seeking a pastor who can help this campus flourish as a vibrant expression of God's Kingdom in its community.

Sawmill

Located in Northwest Columbus, Sawmill serves a broad mix of generations, life stages, and surrounding communities throughout the Dublin and northwest corridor of Central Ohio.

This role is ideal for a pastor who enjoys building teams, developing leaders, and helping a church live into its vision. The next lead pastor will guide an important season of growth and formation, helping strengthen leadership structures, cultivate mission, and establish a thriving church community for the future. We are seeking a strategic and relational leader who can bring clarity, alignment, and momentum to what God is doing in this campus community.
