8th Grade Retreat

We are doing a retreat for all of our 8th graders before they make their way into High School.  We will play games and bond over a bonfire as we reflect on time about Middle School and looking forward to High School!

The retreat center is in St Louisville, OH and has no cell service for most people and no internet.

We will be meeting at Vineyard Columbus at 7pm on May 25 and returning to the church on May 26 at 10am.

We are going to take everyone to Chipotle (cost included) on the way to the church's retreat center.

Cost: $15 per person; Cost covers Chipotle, snacks, breakfast, and transportation to and from!

Immersion VC Middle School

From June 25-29 our Middle School students will be participating in a week-long, immersive experience to serve our refugees in Columbus and put themselves in the shoes of foreigners. On June 25 at 6pm we will meet at the church, and then divide into host homes. We will meet every morning back at the church to do trainings, and then do practical ministry projects working alongside refugees in the afternoon.

The following is an application. Because of the nature of the event, we can only accept a certain amount of students who have a maturity that we deem necessary for this kind of work. This is not first come first serve. We will make final decisions on who is going by June 5.

The cost of $90 will be collected after you have been accepted and will cover the cost of meals and a few supplies throughout the week.

Middle School Camp 2018

Summer Camp is not just the event of the summer - it's the event of the year. From July 29th until August 3rd, middle school students gather for six days and five nights at Camp Cotubic in Bellefontaine to experience God in a way that often has ripple effects throughout a student's entire life.

We listen to awesome speakers, worship with incredible bands, create lifelong friendships, pray for each other, play ridiculous games, swim in the lake, slide down a giant slip-n-slide, and have great cabin devotional times. Every year, we come to camp expectant for the Spirit of God to move, and he never ceases to amaze us with the love and power each of our students experience.

Kids are eligible from the summer they enter into 6th grade until the summer they enter into 9th, and the price is $325 until July 1st, $340 until July 15th (the final deadline). Scholarships are available if the price is not feasible for your family - email laura.weiant@vineyardcolumbus.org with your phone number for more details. We want everyone to be able to come to camp, and we hope to see your student there!
