Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Inside each of us is a desire to make a difference, to have our lives count, to do something significant! We pity the person whose life is simply spent in selfish consumption of God’s blessing. Even worse is the person whose life is a net loss – who actually causes harm to others. But to do good, to be a means by which God can heal and redeem lost and broken people – this makes life really worth living!

Few of us can radically affect the world by ourselves. But together, as our church makes a decision to move in the same direction, we can make a difference. Mother Teresa said, “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.” We want to encourage and challenge you, as a vital part of the Vineyard Church of Columbus family, to follow God’s lead, to invest your time, talent and treasure in becoming a blessing to our community and our world.
