How do I get Involved at Vineyard?
Welcome! We're glad that you are interested in getting involved here at Vineyard. Knowing exactly how and where to get involved, however, can be a challenge in a church as big as ours. Here is a guide to help you get started.

Begin
If you are a relatively new Christian, or if you are still investigating Christianity...

Go to the Welcome Dinner, a catered meal held at Vineyard every other month for anyone interested in finding out more about Vineyard and meeting some of our pastors and church members. There is no charge for the meal and children are welcome.

Go to Alpha, a seven-week introduction to the basics of Christianity that includes a meal, a short teaching and discussion around your dinner table where no question is off-limits.

Go to Beginning the Christian Life, a Saturday morning class about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. This class is scheduled three times a year.

Go to Foundations, a Monday evening class designed to provide you with the basics of Christianity. We meet every week, covering eight rotating topics. Join any time!

afternoons, that covers what Vineyard believes, its history and its ministries, and gives you an opportunity to meet the pastors and staff. Newcomers' class is scheduled six times a year and is a pre-requisite for church membership.

Go to a small group, whether a home group, a women's care group, a men's group or a Joshua House group. All of our small groups welcome newcomers. They meet for fellowship and spiritual encouragement in homes throughout the week across central Ohio. Information about all of our small groups is available in the main lobby.

Grow
If you want to grow spiritually as a Christian…

Get involved in a small group. Fellowship is the best context in which to learn and grow as a disciple of Jesus, providing the opportunity for both giving and receiving ministry.

Start taking Life of the Disciple Classes, which are held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. These classes cover what we believe are the essential elements of being a disciple of Jesus-such things as devotional life, evangelism, service and missions. They range from beginner classes on up to advanced. Schedules are available at the table in the lobby and classes are free.
